GRAN FONDO ISLE OF MAN POWERED BY SANTANDER INTERNATIONAL 2023 DATES CONFIRMED

The eighth edition of Gran Fondo Isle of Man powered by Santander International will take place on the 22nd and 23rd of July 2023.

Gran Fondo Isle of Man continues to grow in popularity, with its range of accessible cycling events attracting an entry of over 1,000 participants in 2022 with riders of all ages and abilities catered for.

The centerpiece of the event, the full 85-mile Gran Fondo, will once again be a qualification event for the prestigious UCI Gran Fondo World Series.

And in 2023 the Isle of Man round will be the final chance to qualify for the World Series Final, which will take place at the first-ever UCI Cycling World Championships where 13 different cycling disciplines will be contested in Glasgow between the 3rd and 13th of August. The Gran Fondo events will be held on the 4th and 7th of August.

But Gran Fondo Isle of Man is not just for the serious racing cyclist with the majority of participants made up from recreational riders, friend groups, families, beginners and children.

The 40-mile Medio Fondo and 20-mile Piccolo Fondo take place simultaneously with the main Gran Fondo, with all three held on mostly closed roads, giving cyclists of all ages and abilities a choice of challenge to take on.

And the increasingly popular Minisculo Fondo sees our youngest riders given the opportunity to ride on a fully closed 1/5 mile circuit in the picturesque Mooragh Park in Ramsey – home to Fondo HQ and the Riders Village.
